VarioCare
Precise motion detection for greater security
The VarioCare provides for a reliable detection of movements and is specially optimised for placement in the floor area in front of the bed. As soon as the patient or occupant leaves the bed, the sensor registers the movement and sends the signal to the receiver and the call system. At the same time an LED activates which illuminates the floor in front of the device and thus significantly reduces the hazard of falls. If this light source is not sufficient, an additional VarioRec 6 wireless socket may be connected for switching another light such as a standard lamp, for example.
The VarioCare offers several useful features for error-free operation. The adjustable direction recognition automatically distinguishes between caregivers and patients. When presence is set, the care mode can be activated so that the sensor does not trigger an emergency call while the patient is cared for. This feature can be deactivated either permanently by a magnetic key or for 10 minutes by a magnetic foot push-button.
Two different wall holders allowing a magnetic fixation of the device are available for permanently installing the VarioCare at one location. This offers additional flexibility in placement and increases stability.
