Safe call with breath sensor for people with restricted mobility

The VarioSwitch respiratory sensor offers occupants and patients with severe movement limitations a reliable solution, allowing them to safely make a call. This is especially important to ensure quick help in critical moments.

The base station of the VarioSwitch is mounted at or in the vicinity of the bedstead. The flexible arm ensures a precise positioning of the sensor head, allowing a call to be triggered by a slight puff of breath from a distance up to 15 cm.

A special feature is the LED indicator in the sensor head. It lights blue as a locating light, and once a call has been triggered, it turns red as a reassurance light. This offers a visual confirmation and extra peace of mind for the user.

It is easy to maintain hygiene as this device does not require a mouthpiece. The sensor head is breathed on from a distance, improving hygiene and safety during use.

The external transmitter module transmits the call to the VARIOREC® radio receiver, thus ensuring reliable and wireless communication.
