Pneumatic cushion transmitter for effortless call release

Specially developed for patients or occupants with geriatric limitations, the MediPad offers a decisive added value due to its easy and effortless call triggering. It allows for a comfortable and versatile use that can be individually adapted. The MediPad pneumatic pad transmitter is ideal for persons who have difficulty in pressing or hitting conventional call buttons. The pad can be positioned such that a call can be triggered not only by hand but also by the head or knee.

The pneumatic sensor already responds to the slightest touch almost without any physical effort. When required, an integrated acoustic signal transducer can also be activated to give the patient or occupant extra peace of mind. Its wireless design allows the MediPad to be universally used in combination with a VARIOREC® receiver, be it in the bed or the wheelchair. The wireless radio transmission ensures safety by preventing the risk of an accidental strangulation.

The fastening material included in delivery allows the pad to be flexibly attached to the bed frame or wheelchair. Thus, it can always be placed in an optimal position.
