Reliable runaway protection for greater safety

VarioMent Plus offers a decisive added value in the field of anti-wandering systems. It enables safe monitoring of patients who are allowed to move freely in the room, although the nursing staff must be informed when they leave the room. The detector is attached to the outer door handle and immediately transmits a call when the door handle is pressed down. Hence, the staff can intervene in time while the patient or occupant remains protected.

This system ensures a tamper-proof monitoring since the VarioMent Plus is mounted externally and cannot be deactivated by patients or visitors. Patients can move freely within the room without triggering an alarm. Only when opening the door, a call is transmitted to the call system, allowing the nursing staff to react quickly.

The nursing staff can inactivate the VarioMent Plus with the included magnetic key to gain undisturbed access to the room or to enable the patient to move around freely. As soon as the protection is reactivated, it is ensured that the patient cannot leave the room unnoticed
