VarioCare Remote

Extended control for the VarioCare motion sensor

With the VarioCare Remote you expand the possible uses and control of the VarioCare Motion Sensor for a precise adjustment to individual care requirements. Both devices communicate wireless and automatically synchronise each change on triggering or not later than every four minutes. This provides for a continuous and smooth system adjustment.

Several functions such as the lighting, an acoustic signal and the call triggering, can be switched on or off separately. This flexibility is especially helpful when using the VarioCare only as a light source. Moreover, an automatic night detection may be activated: at twilight, the sensor automatically switches on the monitoring function and deactivates it when there is sufficient daylight.

The nursing time can be variably adjusted to requirements and different periods of time can be saved. A trigger delay that can also be individually adjusted allows patients to perform movements such as going to the toilet on their own. A timer is activated when the infrared beam is traversed. The timer stops if the patient returns to bed within the defined period of time. Otherwise, a call is triggered after the time has elapsed.
